The stimulus package is not what the taxpayer is feeling good about, nor good for the country. President Obama stated that their are is no "Pork" no "Ear Marks", no matter what the label, it is money which will NOT stimulate the economy, it will spend money, not stimulate the economy in the long term. I am not an economist, I am a taxpayer and I do know the difference between spending and investment, what I am seeing is basically the same from the previous 8 years.
Yes this mess was inherited yet the same group of people were asked to put together this package what was expected! You were elected to make change and this is not what we are seeing, nor feeling. Dispare, Hopelessness and distrust is how we are feeling. It is better to pass a smaller bill which will work (cutting OUT the ear marks, foolish spending) than to pass something which only has small % of making a differenc.
I have alist of over hundreds of Economist who know this package is not good for the Taxpayer, nor the country. We do not want transparency after the fact, if so then the Tarp bill is a perfect example of what not to do! Why are we wanting to spend money if the out come to not to help the country? I am dumb founded by what is taking place in our government.
