Matt Mullenweg Reveals Future of Wordpress - Part 1
When I visited the US Capitol and walked into the Speaker of the House’s office I saw Nancy Pelosi’s PR person using Wordpress. Now THAT is publishing power and gives you an idea of why Wordpress is so important to the world. Here I talk with Matt Mullenweg, founder of Automattic, the company that both holds his name as well as produces Wordpress. We talk about the future of Wordpress because they are about to release a new version.

lots of differences opposed to Xobni. Search reveals many concepts and very detailed relationships. i use it for Outlook
This is beyond nerdy. Wow,. I was watching this video and wondering how come I find enjoyment in videos like this.
Advertisers will have on opportunity to sell their keywords in marketplace??? What marketplace?
Robert thanks for coming by the LeapFish offices. It was great meeting you in person. LeapFish has new upcoming features that will be released over the next weeks and months that we give a few hints to in this video. Mark - Director of Marketing, LeapFish and DotneXt Inc.
comments just the ones you make on that blog. I have notice that not just a post has valid information but comments on a subject gives more to the post and it would make it easier to find post that relate to what you are looking for and the comments about what you are looking for.
Great video! Good to see that WP is improving and moving forward!
Great interview - Wordpress seems to be doing things right, and Matt is cool, calm, calculated and comes across as genuine. Heading over to part 2.
nice interview Robert..I really enjoyed both parts of this interview with Matt.
Another great nod to user-centered design - "I hope the software becomes more invisible" ... makes me happy. One of the reasons Wordpress is so widely used.
Does anyone else see Matt's facial expressions being exactly the same as Tom Cruise?
Terrific interview. This is one of the (if not the) smartest people in the tech industry. Together with Robert you have two of the top five.
Great interview guys
Nice interview, edit and presentation...
This interview was worth every minute. I pushed it on twitter and friendfeed for that very reason. I particularly loved what Matt said about good ideas coming from listening to users. As a community manager I know first hand how true that is. It's a mantra that needs to be adopted across the board. Great questions Robert. Thanks for asking him about javascript. I feel better about it now that I understand his reasoning. Heading over to part 2 now...
Wordpress has definitely come a very long way. I look forward to the future of this blogging platform!
I'm excited to see the new version.
