Part II: King of Tech Talk, Leo Laporte

Tuesday, January 13th, 2009

Part II: Leo Laporte is on radio shows across the nation, most notably on KFI in Los Angeles and KGO in San Francisco, two of the most listened to radio stations in the world. His This Week in Tech show has the largest tech podcast audience on iTunes. He usually has the biggest tech audience of any live show on Stickam. People like Kevin Rose, founder of Digg, have launched their careers after being associated with him. Here we sit down for a fun talk with Leo at his studio in Petaluma, California to find out how he does it all.

Hey, why not record your own video response on Youtube - and insert the url here.

I would love to see more about work changes

Great video again - Leo is cooool. Good content and such quality. Can you list on the site in a box the equipment you use. Why do you use different hosts? I need to buy a flip video then I can respond by video.

Love the interview Robert, and Leo has a lot of really good things to say. But (of course there's a but) he wouldn't be able to do the Twit operation so easily if he wasn't making so much from the radio program (old media). Still, I think all of his advice is valid and very good.

Thanks for the great interview with Leo Laporte. He started out being this very entertaining guy on ZDNet, and has become an inspiration, entrepreneurial hero of mine. I also enjoyed the way that same entrepreneur spirit sparks between he and Scoble. I'm very glad I took the time out of my day to watch.

Great interview gentlemen. High quality, low price

Am looking forward to checking this out. I've always said that Leo was the undisputed but sadly uncrowned king of technology news. But if scobelizer says he's the king then he is now! I wrote a piece very recently about my influencies and where I get my tech news from, and Leo was top of the list. In fact, he introduced me to so many great people through his shows, that I really owe him alot.
